Beyond Circularity: Where Ecological Data and Circular Practice Meet

· News

At Napital, we believe the circular economy should help us rethink more than waste. It offers a way to reconnect industry and finance with the health of nature and communities.

We are pleased to support our strategic partner Tung-Hsuan Lu of RE-SOURCE and RCBA, who presented Beyond Circularity at the STUF United Fund Climate Week NYC Forum. It was great to see him bring Beyond Circularity — and the work emerging from Miaoli, Taiwan — to that forum. His presentation highlighted the work taking shape in Miaoli, from regenerative farming and agroforestry to biodiversity baselines and circular material flows.

For Napital, the presentation also brought two questions into sharper focus:

  • How can ecological data help improve circular practices and give us a more complete understanding of circularity?
  • And in return, how can circular and other sustainable economic activities directly or indirectly improve ecological performance?

At Napital, we are exploring how to put these connections into practice with our partners in Miaoli, Taiwan. We welcome collaborators across industry, research, finance, and communities to develop and test these ideas together.
